My memories of yesteryear Are filled with happy thoughts. From the long car drives in my gorgeous car, To the fun before-school chats. I remember thinking we were so close, Thank nothing would ever change. I look back now and realize How close we were to the end. I told you were my best friend one day, A title that had never been given out. I feel that during those long winter months, The trophy had been thrown out. I feel like I'm taken for granted these days, Like a dependable part-time employee. Well, my friend, we need to chat, As I'm handing in my two weeks notice.

I wake up suddenly And glance at the clock. The red lights blare 3:00am. My Vati throws open the door And hands me the phone. "It's Justin," he says, and leaves. I answer the phone Hope surrounding me for the last time. "I'm sorry. He didn't make it." The dreaded words ring in my ears. I stay calm until our conversation ends. Then I leave my room and walk around my house Somehow ending up in my parents room. They look at me in surprise as the tears roll down my cheeks. Our Fight

The knife of sadness plunges deep into my heart, The tears roll down my cheeks. Pain thunders through my stomach And shrieks through my skull. That droplet of hope splattered against the ground, Wrapping me in anger and pain. All they can do is laugh. With a last ounce of kindness I try to smile, try to humour them. All it does is anger them. They aim for my weaknesses with their bullets of insults Then leave me there to bleed. I retaliate by the only way I know. I spread the word. I have healed. They still suffer.

Hello everybody.  There's a lot going on in my life right now.  I seem to have two extremes going, because I have a ton of good things happening to me and a ton of bad.  For example: I got into the U of C for engineering.  However, I have a sexual harrasement case filed at one of my favourite work places, and I'm on a leave of absense until everything is over.  The good thing though is that the things aren't evening out to make my life neutral.  It's actually staying at a pretty high level.  I've been dating a guy for a year now, and he's taking care of me through everything, along with my amazing family.  I'm very lucky. Some people need to learn tolerance.  I learned this first-hand today at the pool. I was trying to teach this little 3-year-olds how to do front glides, and the one girl kept sawing 'no, I want to play a game instead!' and it got me so mad that I eventually started saying "no.  We won't do that until next Thursday."  I felt really bad about it after.  All she wanted to do was play in the water, which actually would have got her more comfortable with it.  Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one on the planet that gets impatient with people.  Can you imagine how much better the planet would be if we were more patient with everyone and if w

I haven't written on this four a couple of months now.  I'm okay.  I get to find out when my knee surgery is in a couple of days.  I'm thinking I'll get it around Christmas, because that way I'll have saved up a ton of money from my lifeguarding job and my Parts job.  I just hope it turns out as good as I hope it does...
